APPLICATION DEVELOPER

Join our winning team! PDI is currently seeking Developers responsible for developing and maintaining a large retail accounting application in a multi-platform environment.

Qualified applicants possess:

  • a minimum of 2 years experience with stored procedures based development using Microsoft® SQL
  • 2 years programming experience with C++ or C# in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • experience with Microsoft.NET is preferred

Knowledge of accounting principles, POS devices, Pricebook, Crystal Reports and retail automation industry experience is a plus.

CONSULTANT

PDI is currently seeking Consultants responsible for assisting customers with the training and implementation of retail accounting software.

Qualified candidates possess:

  • PDI/RMS or other large retail accounting software experience
  • strong accounting and / or operations background
  • technical skills
  • willingness to travel
  • a customer service orientation

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's Degree in Business / Accounting or equivalent business experience in the convenience store, grocery, or retail arena. Professional project management certification is a plus.

CUSTOMER SERVICE & SALES REPRESENTATIVE

PDI is currently seeking qualified team members to serve customers as a technical consultant and sales representative. The team member creates hardware and third-party software specifications for customers to support company software requirements and sells hardware and third party software based on customers' needs.

Qualified applicants have a minimum of 2 years sales / sales support experience; experience in a customer service role; degree in a technical or business discipline; and experience with PCs or servers. The candidate must be proficient in MS Office software, especially Excel, Outlook and Word and have excellent oral/written communication skills, well developed presentation skills and proven experience managing multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment. Must be able to move equipment of up to 50 pounds without assistance.

PRICE BOOK ANALYST

Provides Pricebook maintenance services collaborating with customers and vendors to complete daily Pricebook processing and maintenance. Adds / maintains new items, vendor costs, retails, categories, sub-categories, promotional costs and/or retails, item traits, sell unit and size files, vendor cost zones and vendor authorizations, device attributes. Processes files submitted for Data Exchange, typically item and invoice files, and performs translate table maintenance.

Qualified applicants have PDI/RMS and PDI/Enterprise knowledge as well as proficiency with MS Access, Excel, Word, Monarch, FTP, McLane mainframe, Quasar, UPC expansion, Remote Desktop, PC Anywhere, VPN client, and Relativity. Required skills include: excellent time management, communication (written and oral), and organizational skills.

TECHNICAL WRITER

Duties include writing software release notes and installation instructions, testing software and corresponding documentation, incorporating changes from software releases into existing online help and reviewing published material to recommend revisions to content and format.

Qualified applicants hold a Bachelors Degree in English or related field and possess solid writing and grammar skills. Proficiency with MS Word is required, and experience with AuthorIT, Adobe®, Full Shot© and training is a plus. Ideal candidates are highly motivated, proactive, interested in technology and excel in a fast-paced environment.
