Women in Technology at PDI

PDI proudly supports the Women in Tech initiative. With six female leaders on our executive team, as well as countless female leaders in VP, director, and manager levels across our organization, we strive to provide an environment where women can grow and thrive in our technology and software driven industry.

Our female leaders are active in encouraging other women to reach for upper-management roles. Here are some of the organizations they are a part of: Technology Association of Georgia, Reimagine ATL, and Venture Atlanta.

Check back soon for more details about our women in technology at PDI. In the meantime, listen to our Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chris Berry, as she talks with the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) about PDI’s growth journey, the tech trends driving digital transformation across our industries, and the ways PDI is fostering a culture of innovation to deliver leading solutions for its customers.

Employee Spotlight

Keri Michaelis

I work in the Alpharetta, Ga. office as a Senior Customer Success Manager.

I love to read and spend time with my family. In 2020, I finished 90 novels between March and December and am currently through 82 books halfway into 2021. Family time is also important. My family and I have taken family movie night to a whole new level with movie-themed nights with special meals that fit the theme, and everyone gets dressed up.

My role in Customer Success is a perfect fit. I get to use my experience dealing with contracts and large-scale implementation projects and I love working with all the different teams at PDI that provide our customers the support they need.

PDI has an engagement ambassador program that is so fun! I joined the Alpharetta engagement ambassadors’ team and I’ve helped with our international Women’s Day initiative and planning for a Kentucky Derby Happy Hour and a school supplies drive for our Alpharetta employees.

Currently, I work remotely as a project manager. I spent the last 14 years at a company that PDI acquired working in various roles. PDI is the largest company I’ve worked for in this industry, but they’re great at sharing a lot of information and making everyone feel like they’re part of the team.

The team at PDI is amazing. Everyone I have worked with is willing to go above and beyond when they see a need.

If you are looking for an opportunity that offers career growth, PDI is the company for you. That’s good for employees to know in case they ever want to explore new opportunities in the future. It’s fun to think about all the different teams and how we can bring them all together.

As a project manager, I love being able to help internal and external customers. I feel like an investigator. I always want to know where we are at, what we need next, and how we can move the project forward.

I live in Vienna, Austria. I started at PDI in 2019 as a Support Consultant.

Living in north Vienna, I’m only a one-hour walk away from our local mountain. I love to hike (and bike) and take in the big picture view of my surroundings. In addition, one of my passions has always been music, especially involved listening and singing. How many people really “listen” to music anymore?

I’m always up for a challenge and love growing my knowledge and skill set, so it’s great working at PDI, which allows me to expand my skill set each day. I absolutely love to work with an amazing team while making life better for our customers. And I can’t hide the fact I’m proud — I have been able to grow into the role of a Level III Support Specialist. I also enjoy spreading the knowledge I have gained with newer team members.

I was keen to take the opportunity at PDI because it allowed me to work within one of my passions, information technology. I also get to work for an international company and help customers in many different countries, allowing me to improve my English skills, as my primary language is German. Honestly, working customer support at PDI has improved my communication skills to a whole new level.

There are so many things I enjoy about my job. What tops the list is the ability to work with people around the world to produce tangible results and being able to interact with our amazing customer base to drive our roadmap and development.

I am an avid attendee of Orange Theory Fitness, attending 5-6 days a week. Fitness is really important to me, and PDI is a great supporter of this effort allowing me the flexibility in my schedule to accommodate my passion.

PDI’s fast growing pace in an international market along with an approachable and available leadership team.

For me the best part is not knowing what’s going to happen next. As the Operations Manager, I am constantly moving from one project to another, and for me, not having a mundane set routine makes for a pleasant work life. The occasional traveling is also a plus!

PDI’s company culture. PDI is a very open environment which encourages us to follow new ideas and try new ways to complete tasks.

I would tell them to apply! The work here is very rewarding, and the people are great!

PDI’s focus on technology and software. After some research and talking to a few of their customers I was amazed by the quality and reputation of the company. During my interview process, I was impressed by how everyone spoke about PDI. What left the biggest impression wasn’t what they said, but how it was said – genuinely.

The people I work with. On my first day, I was welcomed and immediately made to feel like one of the team. I also believe everyone at our office is here to make each day better than the last.

A drive to succeed that is embraced by every person at the organization. Not a single day goes by where I haven’t seen everyone in the office working hard to make this a better company. This is the first organization I’ve been a part of to seriously embody their values in order to make every engagement a positive experience for employees and customers.

We build great relationships on real trust. That’s the starting point for our business. Most people think they can go make money and try to do the right thing on top of that. We realize that it’s the starting point for sustainable growth.

It’s not easy making things easy. We care about each other, but if you’re not prepared to work hard you’re on the wrong boat.

I have a small farm outside of town with my family. We garden, raise rabbits and chickens, and we’re looking at Dorper sheep. I also play Celtic music.
