Eli Weiss
Chairman of the Board

Eli is Managing Director of Genstar Capital, responsible for expanding Genstar’s Software Practice. Eli joined Genstar in 2008. He has over a decade of private equity investment experience in technology-related sectors. Prior to joining Genstar Capital, Eli was an Associate at Hellman & Friedman LLC, a private equity investment firm in San Francisco. Previously, Eli worked for Greenhill & Co. in New York as an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Restructuring and Principal Investing groups. Eli has an MBA from Stanford and BA from Yale.

Hythem T. El-Nazer
Managing Director, TA Associates

Hythem helps to lead TA’s investments in software and technology-enabled companies primarily in North America.   He has 16 years of experience working with and investing in some of the leading technology and communications companies in the world. Since joining TA in 2004, he has been involved in more than 15 investments totaling more than $15 billion in enterprise value. These investments have been in North America, Europe, India and the Middle East. Hythem has deep domain expertise across both vertical and infrastructure software platforms. He has partnered with founders and management teams with an aim to accelerate organic growth and transform businesses through strategic acquisitions.

Jimmy Frangis
CEO, PDI

Jimmy joined PDI in 2016 and is responsible for setting the strategic vision and direction for the company. As CEO he brings more than 20 years of experience in retail software. Prior to PDI, Jimmy served in various leadership positions at NCR Corporation including vice president and general manager of the global petroleum and convenience retail business. Prior to joining NCR, he held multiple leadership positions at Radiant Systems. Jimmy began his career at Arthur Andersen. He holds a B.B.A. and an M.B.A. from the University of Georgia.

Gordon McNeil

Gordon is a Vice President at Genstar Capital, helping to identify, evaluate and execute acquisition and investment opportunities. Gordon joined the firm in 2015. Prior to joining, Gordon was an Associate at Summit Partners, a private equity investment firm based in Boston. Gordon holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS  in Finance from Pennsylvania State University.

Mark Hanson

Mark is a member of Genstar Capital’s Strategic Advisory Board and advises the firm in the area of software, responsible for expanding Genstar Capital’s software practice by leveraging his more than twenty years in the industry. He joined Genstar in 2006. Mark serves as a Director of Accruent, Strategic Insight, and Telestream.

Prior to joining Genstar Capital, Mark most recently served as Senior Vice President for Corporate Development and Chief of Staff for Siebel Systems, Inc., where he worked closely with the executive team to help Siebel return to growth in 2005. He was responsible for building the M&A function at Siebel and during his tenure the company made 17 acquisitions.

Steve Mankoff

Steve serves as an advisor to Genstar Capital on software. He has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry and currently serves on the Boards of Accruent, Telestream, Appuri, Cloverpop, Nomis Solutions, OpsPanda, and Stellar Loyalty, and Advisory Boards of Cloud9 Analytics, Kepha Partners, and Neuvora. He is a former Director of ConvergeOne, ConstructConnect, Netsmart Technologies, Insurity, Ministry Brands, SignalDemand, and Virtual Instruments and formerly on the Advisory Board of C3.

Previously, Steve worked as Senior Vice President Global and Technical Services at Siebel Systems, Inc. which was acquired by Oracle in 2006. Steve holds a Master of Science in Management from MIT Sloan School, and a BS, Electrical Engineering Brown University.

Scott Kingsfield

Scott is an Operating Partner at Luminate Capital Partners and is based in Atlanta, GA. Scott has worked in the technology industry for over 20 years and currently chairs the boards of Oversight Systems and Star Compliance, and sits on the board of Fintech. Prior to joining Luminate Capital, Scott served as President of the Retail Division at NCR and held multiple executive roles at Radiant Systems, which was known as the leading provider of technology solutions to the retail and hospitality industry. Scott began his career as a management consultant with Arthur Andersen and Price Waterhouse.

Jeff Bender
CEO, Harris

Jeff Bender has served on our board since October of 2016.  Jeff also serves on the board of Constellation Software, TSX:CSU.  As Harris’ CEO, Jeff guides the company by overseeing all corporate planning and strategic direction. He works with all employees to establish and deliver on Harris’ goals and objectives and create value for all Harris employees, customers and shareholders. Jeff’s continual focus on accountability, responsibility, ownership and understanding continues to drive the Harris performance culture.  Before his appointment as CEO, Jeff made significant contributions to the company by holding various senior management positions, including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Harris in 1999, Jeff spent seven years at Deloitte & Touche in their technology business practice. Jeff earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree at Carleton University and is a member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants.
